We went there for my fiance's birthday on the recommendation of our Sydney gourmet friends and were delighted with the whole experience: classy decoration, pleasant atmosphere, not too noisy, not too quiet, creative and delicious food, lovely staff who know what they are talking about. The most perfect meal we had in Sydney since we arrived 6 months ago.

Gastro Park, it's easier to say what's bad about it than good so the bad stuff is.......nothing! Not really a negative but the mango ice tea is something I wouldn't get again, yes it tastes like mango but I was expecting more Only a short walk from the train station and this time not bothered by people standing at the front... A very special mother and son date night...when a 10 years old boy said that he is struggling to choose his favourite dish, but maybe his top 2 are the lobster and the quails despite everything else being just exquisite...that's as good as it gets... Thank you Grant King and Gastro Park's team for a perfect night, beautiful venue, excellent... More

I dined here with my wife and her parents and we were all overwhelmed with the exceptional food and service here. We had the 10 course degustation and every dish were extremely creative works of art that tasted just as good as they looked. Our waiter Olivier was very friendly, attentive and had great knowledge of the food and wines... More

I had the pleasure of dining a second a time to enjoy a 10 course tasting which is exactly that. Tempting and filling however to my delight the portions were well laid out and each dish was well presented with subtle flavours neither compromising the other. All dishes were beautifully presented with a natural forest theme feel. There were many... More

A choice of either 7 or 10 course degustation meal; we had ten. One in our party of four was vegetarian and ate limited seafood - they accommodated her requests without fuss. Each dish was unique, presented as art, and tasted amazing. Matching wines are available, but we had wine from the extensive wine list.

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighbourhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
