We have tried the margherita pizza which was good, but not wow. The place is not very welcoming, with tables standing too close to each other.

I was fan #1 of this place and, since i discovered it in August, i sponsored it with a lot of people and i took here a lot of friends. Unfortunately i have been twice in the last month and i have to ascertain that the quality is decreasing over time! Frozen crocchè and raw fried montanara in the fritto... More

What can I say: lucio's pizzeria is one of the best places I've been to eat pizza in Sydney. I'm Italian and have been to Naples a few times. Authentic taste and atmosphere, I felt like being in Naples. Would definitely recommend it 100%. Great work guys

I'm italian and this pizzeria is the best I found in Sydney if you like the tiny italian pizzas. It's good to go with few people, not many, because the place is not so big!

Omg this is where you can get beautiful crispy thin pizza with quality ingredient toppings in atmospheric square off the main drag so almost a local secret (I lived across the road and became quite a regular!). Perfect for an al fresco dinner savouring good pizza and glass of vino!

This place is a must. The whole ambience is so authentic. I felt like we were back in Italy. The staff talking in Italian to us and our children. Very accommodating and pleasant. The place was pumping. Clearly the locals know how good the food is. The foodora guy just kept coming back. The pizza was delicious and very authentic.... More

I ordered two pizzas via Foodora. The estimated delivery time was 40 minutes. Foodora were in constant contact with me and couldn't explain the delay on Lucio's end. I had to wait well over an hour for pizzas that were the consistency of cardboard and weren't sliced properly.

I've been here few times, to be honest in 2010 was wanderful, maybe also for lack of other good pizzerias in Sydney, now is still good, the ambient is great, the guys are all from Italy, if I remember well, from Naples, you'll enjoy your night. Last time I haven't found the 'pastiera', hope they'll get it back.. good job!

I eat here on average once a month, the food is both consistent and excellent as is the knowledge of the staff. A very good place to bring friends and family who are visiting.

Absolutely great pizza! Lucio is located outside the usual tourist area and it's not particularly attractive.. but pizza is delicious and authentic. We were sitting outside and truly enjoyed it.

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighbourhood Profile
Darlinghurst
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
