2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

I was being taken out by my wife for on a date night. We were VERY dissappointed with the resturant. The service for the first half an hour at 20:30 was fantastic. The rest of the night got progressively worse. It was the little things at first, no butter for the bread (which was fabulous), then the water glasses weren't... More

Saturday night I Was taking my husband out for a special date night to what I had expected to be a great 3 hat restaurant. I'm sorry to say The Bridge Room was very disappointing. I had been here for a business lunch and thought it great... we opted for the 6 course degustation. We chose a bottle of wine... More

I spent a wonderful birthday at the amazing Bridge Room. I took my dad as a treat and we had an amazing evening. We enjoyed the chef's selection degustation and every fish was superb! It is a little on the pricy side but in my view it's worth every cent. The shaved snapper is to die for as is the... More

Fabulous food and wine, Service was smooth and efficient. Busy and quite noisy at times but not intrusive. A bit $$$$ but certainly very good value.

We went to the Bridge Room after having read multiple excellent reviews and were very disappointed : for a '3 hat' (and with the price that goes with it), the setting, service, wines are all pretty average. The food is good (sometimes very good) but no wow factor. We took the 6 course (which is in fact 2 tiny (blend)... More

I just happened to pick this restaurant out of the Good Food Guide as we wanted to go to a good restaurant for our anniversary. I am SO glad I picked this restaurant as it was great. The service was excellent, with the waiters being very polite and attentive. The restaurant itself was very pleasant, with not too many tables,... More

Was expecting a formal dinner atmosphere when going to a "3 hat" restaurant in the heart of Sydney. The glass doors are look out onto the street and inside the fellow customers were casually dressed. We felt a tad over-dressed! The food was lovely, pretty traditional, nothing revolutionary. Service friendly and chatty. Pleasant but not necessarily a wow night out.

Not sure whether it was the company, the wine or the evening or indeed if it's possible and The Bridge Room (last Tuesday night) was even better than usual (I now go regularly). Table for 4 (old and new friends) from 6.30 through 9.30 without a thing that could be construed a fault. Goodness me this is a talented team!... More

Incredible restaurant in the centre of Sydney. Beautiful, long dining room in elegant Art Deco building. Attentive, but not intrusive, friendly, informed staff. Food was out of this world! The lamb and duck were sensational, and my chocolate dessert was beyond delicious! Extensive wine list. Fine dining. $$$, but worth every cent. I took an overseas visitor as a special... More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
