There is no doubt that the quality here is high, and the service is attentive and friendly, but AUD62.00 for 2 people is simply too high. At the end of the day this is just a Sushi Train, and there are just as many options which are similar in quality and service without the cost. There was very few options... More

this place is packed with Australian and few Asians, that should give you a hint of the food quality. not a keen fan of conveyor belt sushi and this is no different, Sevice is amateurish, would not give you ginger until you ask, twice. selection of sushi is quite limited, the chef can't even make a scallop handroll but ok... We've been here twice and have enjoyed both times, My husband loves the crystal bay prawns and scampi, i love the takoyaki and fresh oysters with ponzu sauce. Great variety of sushi that you will normally see elsewhere and you certainly get what you pay for.

Fresh and delicious! Very good for money. Went there last week and it was their first yr anniversary so all plates were only $2!

I totally agree with the earlier comments. This place has the best sushi in Sydney. I go there all the time. They have plenty variety of sushis to suit your likings. I don't like raw fish but I'm fully satisfied with everything else there. The seared crab stick sushi. The sushi roll of avocado cucumber and omlette topped with teriyaki... More

I'm a big fan of sushi and visited most of the sushi trains around CBD. This one is by far my favourite! Their sushi are tasty, fresh and of right temperature; there is always a great variety of fish available and what makes them really stand out is that they add new things all the time. So, it never gets... More

For the amount I am paying, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi in this establishment. Granted the service is a little slow especially with grilled/cooked dishes e.g. Chicken Teriyaki & Bento boxes, I am still a frequent customer of this restaurant. Definitely recommended to those looking to enjoy quality sushi for a decent price!

My boy is in love with sushi. Besides, we go to Capital theatre quite frequently for the show. Thus we are Umi Kaiten Zushi regular customers. We have acknowledged the quality of sushi at this place has changed since they first openned. However, yesterday's experience led us to decide not to go back to this restaurant again because of its... More

As many of you may know, there are sushi trains galore in Sydney. Trying to eat sushi every Saturday for lunch, I got the chance to try many of them. Umi Kaiten Zushi is still my favourite sushi train. Their sushi is mostly fresh and not cooked, which both me and my husband prefer. There usually is a good variety... More
