We went there for dinner. The service was impeccable and the food delicious (but a tiny bit pricey). The zucchini flowers, the Brussels sprouts (on the specials menu) and the tofu dish were amazing. My friends enjoyed the tuna and salmon sushi as well. Great option for casual dinner in a nice setting.

Think about a Japanese restaurant, and think over again. you can find the classical succulents like many other japan cuisine, but then you dive in all this sharing entrees and mains delicacies, with flavors you didn't taste before and you realise you are sitting somewhere with a unique cuisine. staff are great, we came on a late service and knowing... Great little place. Awesome vibe with great decor. We had a 6pm booking as we had a show nearby at 8 and we barely made it. The menu font was difficult to read but Waiters were very friendly and attentive and happy to explain. Food did take a little while to come out (we had a 6pm booking as we... More

Beautiful combination of flavours! Can't believe this restaurant isn't in the top25 in Sydney' tripadvisor ranking. Bravo to the daring chef/s to think out of the box!

We went for dinner. It was really busy for a Thursday. From the time we came in till we left, staff were really nice, friendly and smiley. We ordered bonito, Brussels sprouts and beef ribs. Everything was yummy and I loved the smokiness of the bonito and the ribs, and the hint of citric in the Brussel sprouts dish. The... More

The menu is inventive and the food so exquisitely tasty. The service is helpful, attentive and friendly. But you need to book - it is popular (because the food is so good). Our experience was however spoilt by rubbish music, played too loudly! What is it with good restaurants who do this - the music must be for the staff... More

The service here is reasonable. On a Saturday night, you have to wait to get a table and the tables are cramped. Food is serviced here in share plates and the selection of mains is quite limited. There is a limited selection of sushi and sashimi, with all options lacking in flavor. The wine menu is quite limited. Overall, Izakaya... More

Big fan of the food and a bigger fan of the atmosphere - friendly and attentive staff and music that's right up my alley. Would definitely recommend visiting at least once!

Try the pork belly with crispy skin. Yum. Busy friendly atmosphere opens onto street. Amazing range of sake.

The main courses are their main attraction. A popular crowded eatery. Deserving of their one chefs Hat... The Aussie SMH award. Outstanding are the Nine Regular sake, the grilled beef ribs, the oven grilled fish.
