We were blown away by Sokyo. Superb food, outstanding service. Each dish was a surprising and delicious twist on traditional Japenese. Highly recommended.

Great innovative food beautifully presented and great flavour combinations make for a wonderful eating experience. We ate at the bar that serves the same menu as the restaurant, especially good for theatre goers with limited time. Highly recommended!More

Patagonian toothfish in Miso glaze (signature dish), lightest ever cuttlefish tempura, delicious dainty lambchops, numerous sashimi and skewers. You must eat as a shared banquet and the excellent service will time it just right.A little pricey however a worthwhile occasion.

Sokyo has great food and atmosphere. It also has an extensive wine a sake list. However, the serving sizes are extremely small and it is very expensive. Still one of the best Japanese restaurants on Sydney.

I always enjoy my Sumo dish. The daily breakfast buffet is a must when you are staying in The Star. Try going early in the morning at 7am to avoid the crowd.
