Description
Pitt St Diner is the quintessential little neighbourhood French bistro. Tucked away just around the corner from busy Redfern Street a block from beautiful Redfern Park, Pitt St Diner has become a best-kept secret for a local crowd of food lovers seeking great service and French-influenced cuisine at very reasonable prices in an intimate and relaxed setting. As one customer commented, “a certain old-world charm abounds at Pitt St Diner, like you are hiding away in some corner of France, eating home-cooked meals.”

Start with classic dishes such as oysters natural with French shallots, Champagne vinaigrette and lemon, or go straight for Chef Norman’s infamous 400g steak-frites, depending on your appetite! The fish dishes are also to die for. Then there’s always the premium cheese boards served with warm baguette, fresh pear and local honey comb to round off the meal… With the seasonal fortnightly rotating menu, there’ll always be something to tickle your tastebuds. Pitt St Diner offers seating inside or outside, and there are over 160 international and Australian wines, local craft ales and cocktails to choose from.
