Stays very busy until about 9:30 at night. Good selection of Tapas food. Friendly and attentive staff. Tables are close together and it can be loud at times but still a nice atmosphere. Try the white chocolate mousse.

Week-end lunch with friends, always good at the best of times, but Tapavino was a perfect venue for a celebration birthday lunch. The dishes were delightful and tasty, finishing with some exciting and yummy deserts - all to share. On a long table outside, we had a fun, flavoursome experience. The canopies had a leak and annoyingly dropped on guests,... More

We went here to grab drinks on our first day in Sydney. It is next to the hotel we stayed at. Drinks and food were great. We met a very cool bartender named Holly. She is hilarious, if you get to visit Tapavino, look for Holly.

Every time I come here, I leave in a happier place. A great Spanish wine bar (beer to) with an exhaustive list of great wine and sherry. Sit with friends and talk over great tapas style food, sipping wine that you know nothing about but delighted by its taste. I'll be back soon.

Very eclectic menu with plenty of assortment that will send you away full. Three of us ate at the bar while various menu selections were presented a the perfect pace. Lots of beer, wine and cava to choose from as complement to the creative menu. Will be back on next visit!

Arrived Sydney from Toronto, Canada @ 10am. Got to hotel for a quick refresh and we were starving after the 22 hour flight Tapavino is located right around the corner from the Syndey Mairoitt, and was exactly what we needed. Very chill, and lots and lots of little bits and bites of heaven! We love tapas, but tapavino took it... More

My husband and I stayed at the Harbor Marriott on our first visit to Australia. Directly behind the hotel were several dinner establishments. After our long flight we decided to find something close. A quick peek at the menu and we decided to eat here. My husband and got the yellow fin tuna 'crude, crushed sliced almonds and sherry dressing. So... More

Stumbled across this gem, after walking in and out of restaurants in the Rocks! The exterior belies this tucked away restaurant. Inside the decor has a strong atmospheric Spanish feel. The menu is comprehensive. Each course I had was a new experience for me! I've travelled around the world and spent many holidays in the Mediterranean and Spain, but had... More

A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Food, & Friends Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia's first Sherry Bar, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Helped by the beautiful warm vibe that greets you as you step inside and take a seat among floor-to-ceiling wine bottles, Tapavino was named runner-up in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Best New Bar' Awards within 4-months of opening. 12-months later we were named 'Best Bar with Food'. Our endless pages of over 300 Spanish wines and 80 Sherries is an important component of our obsession of all things Spanish, and this reflects in our dedication of bringing the most exciting boutique and artisan wines from around Spain to the Australian Market
