Built by a relative of mine, John Robertson, around 1840, I hope the Dundee Arms is still here for my Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren to visit! Right now I'd be happy to take my son there for a lemonade and immerse him in our families history. My Great Grandparents were married at the Dundee Arms.

Although this historic property is currently being renovated, we had experienced such an amazing dinner here last year during our visit to Sydney. The service had been excellent while the standard of drinks and food had been very impressive. Everyone should experience this bar for its historic atmosphere and surroundings, too.

The Dundee arms used to be a great bar adjacent to the4 Points Hotel but as development of this complex progresses it now looks disheveled and delapidated as the area around it is ripped apart. Gone is the nice patio and inside the furnishing is degraded to a few bare tables and chairs with access to the rear blocked by... More

Nice little pub very close to the hotel. Still manages to operate well despite extensive renovations going on around it.

I love The Dundee. It offers a limited food & bev menu which makes choosing so much quicker and easier. The food is delivered in cool packaging and the Burger and Peking Duck pizza are just amazing. There are heaters outside for warmth when enjoying a cold ale in winter and tables inside. Prices and staff are both good.

The Dundee Arms is a great little pub located next to the Four Points by Sheraton in Sussex Street. The pub is a little bit reduced in size at the moment due to some renovations, but it has nice seating areas inside and nice outdoor areas with Gas heaters for those cool evenings. For people staying at the Four Points... More

I have eaten here before and was ok. Tonight my fish and chips turned up in a cardboard box. The chips tasted ok but had to dig them out from under oily battered fish wish terrible wooden cutlery. What a disgrace.

This little gem was right around the corner from the Sheraton Four Points Darling Harbor hotel. After a long day of site seeing, my husband would "escape" and go down to that little pub for a pint. He sat outside on he cute patio and relaxed. It was a little husband day care center! hahahhahah

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
