got wagyu and shorthorn beef, 3 glasses of wine and a dessert. price at ~ 180 aud. it is worth of it considering the good ambiance and good service. but don t expect wagyu at Japanese standards with a real wow effect.

Went to meat and wine co for dinner on a moderately full Saturday night. While it did take a long time for a waiter to initially ask for our drinks order, the food was good! We ordered the wagyu rump, and couldn’t fault the meat...More

Sunday lunch here and the food was excellent. A great wine list but this restaurant is towards the 'fine dining' side of the scale. The staff were really good, professional and attentive without being intrusive. A great selection of meals here although it is primarily...More

We had a very nice evening and meal at this restaurant, it is conveniently located close to the Sydney Harbor. It is quite big with many different rooms, some quiet and some very lively. The menu was very interesting, meat was very good, a place...More

I'm still having dreams about that Wagyu scotch fillet. That's all I really need to say! End of story.

We visited for a work function. About 8 people. The Staff and surroundings were fine. And menu selection was reasonably good - so all in all we had a good time. But I cannot say that it was ‘special’.

We were there on a Monday night and it was surprisingly busy - maybe as it's part of the Intercontinental Hotel, so best to book. The menu was good - mainly beef steak but we also had lamb shoulder and kangaroo fillet on a skewer....More

We visited with 2 guests for the degustation menu and it was awful. The prawns were floating in some type of soup and it was practically impossible to remove the shells. When the main course came, one of the four of us were simply forgotten...More

4 of us for a 3 course dinner and had a very enjoyable meal. Service was a tad stretched but the steaks excellent and, given the location and quality of food on offer, prices are very good.

Came for the 5 course degustation menu, steak was over cooked. And so much carbs to make you full whilst having few premium ingredients in the dish. Not coming back.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

As previous reviewers have said; it's not fine dining, but it is upmarket. The steaks are sensational and the service is very good.
