Meat & Wine Co. is a tad quieter, cozier and dimly lit than many of the eateries in the area. Of course, they specialize in meats and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was very pleasant, service was attentive and the meat was delightful. We...More

I really wanted to try kangaroo while in Australia. I booked a table using the restaurant's website. You should book; it's free and easy. I arrived in the area way too early, so I went to the botanical gargen/park nearby for a walk before going...More

Excellent steaks. Very nice decor. We were in a private dining room which was nice, although we felt a bit isolated and forgotten by the staff on occasions. The waiter was very knowledgeable, made really good recommendations for appetisers and was spot on with his...More

We enjoyed every bit of our experience here. Efficient, polite and friendly service. Lovely Australian wine but best of all, the food. It was excellent, the steak was great as was the shrimp and steak skewer.

Everything was outstanding at this restaurant. Service, food, choices, atmosphere, cocktails - all wonderful. Highly recommend dining here. Or having cocktails. Or both.

The food was tasty, I ordered the kangaroo skewer which is reminiscent of venison and not gamey at all, however the fried onions that came with it were cold and soggy. What upset me the most was the dining experience at the restaurant. Even after...More

Everything about this restaurant is great. Although the meals are simple, they taste amazing and come in generous sizes. Do yourself a favour and try a steak, you won't regret it. It is the best steak I have had in any restaurant. The wine selection...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
