A perfect Greek experience for those who've never had one before . The food just kept coming . The music just kept playing and dancing was such fun . If you need a place to accommodate a large group of people looking for an evening of , Let's eat , drink and be merry ", this is the place to... More

We were in Aesop's mid week around end September, the food was excellent and very authentic Greek fare but unfortunately we were the only customers that evening so the atmosphere was rather lacking the Greek taverna buzz! Perhaps at least some Bouzouki background music would have been better than the rather oppressive Russian symphonies. However the owner was very chatty... More

We had a great time at Aesops last night for my friend's Hens Party! Dancing, plate smashing and fantastic food - the calamari was the best I've ever had! Definitely recommend :)

Plate smashing. Dancing on chairs. Awesome food. Just go and have a great time, but I'd recommend booking first just in case!

Very nice food great and service. On a Friday lunch time the place is empty. It is different than other Greek restaurant. The value is good but the place is good for food not ambiance

We didn't expect something like that. We can say the food was good, but Not traditional at all. At the end, they charged us 21 dollars because we paid by card. That's crazy!!

Delicious Greek cuisine, the haloumi, salad and vegetarian moussaka were divine. I could happily eat here every day.

I brought six of my year 10 students to Aesop's as part of an ancient history excursion. James looked after us exceptionally well. We had Greek salad, bread and oil, haloumi cheese, chicken kebabs and slow cooked lamb and potatoes, as well as a tasting platter of dessert. Then the music came on for Zorba's dance and James introduced the... More

We went to Aesop's fo a company dinner for four on a mid-week night during the Sydney Vivid festival - unfortunately the festival may have resulted in less customers as there were only about 10 other dinners during our time there which meant that the restaurant felt quite stark and empty. That said, we had a lovely dinner and enjoyed... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
