Our second Opera Australia 'Dinner is on us' deal. As with all things OA it was a case of over promise and under deliver. The offer is a fundamentally the restaurants lunch special, Normal price $17, with a glass of wine added. The restaurant was packed at 5.30pm. Funnily enough this budget deal does not offer you the best seating... More

Burger was awful, too much truffle oil. Waited for ketchup for 30 minutes and got Tabasco instead.. Female waitress obviously hates her job.

Eastbank is one of a half dozen restaurants in a row on the East side of Circular Quay vigorously touting for business. There’s not a lot to differentiate one from the other, other than a seafood one and a Thai one. We chose Eastbank almost at random (although the menu at the front seemed marginally better than the others). We... More

Located near my hotel, I saw this café while walking by and noticed that it seemed lively and interesting. Reading the reviews here, I decided to have dinner there that night. I was very pleased. Incredibly friendly and attentive service from every server who happened to walk by my outside table. Nothing was rushed and everyone went out of their... More

My wife and I selected the Eastbank for dinner our first night in Sydney and while the food was very good, the service was subpar. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay when we arrived. 20 minutes later a server arrived with a bottle of Savignon Blanc. I explained the mistake and he left. After another 20 minutes, a different server... More

Hi Thank you so much for taking the time and writing to us about your experience at Eastbank. I truly apologise for the mistake and I appreciate your patience for it seems like a 45 minute wait for a bottle of wine. We take our customers feedback very seriously, so please rest assured that I will raise this issue with... More

A great place to sit and watch the world go by. Menu is fairly basic, Pizza, Pasta, Fish, etc, but surprisingly good value. Service is very prompt. Good choice for lunch a dinner

This restaurant is situated on the quay just before The Opera House. You have a view of the harbor and everything around. We had dinner here one evening and our meal was very good. Nice to relax and people watch.

Five of us chose from the Sunday Lunch menu at AUD17 per head for a main course. This was extremely good value with ample portions, well presented and tasty. The fish and chips were very good with a light batter, not the slightest bit greasy, our son-in-law enjoyed his Burger and both the Fettucine and Tagliatelli dishes were also enjoyable.... More

We sat outside looking over the harbour while eating an absaloutely divine italian meal. Great ambience, attentive wait staff who cater to your every need and have great knowledge of both the food & wine they offer. Extremely well priced for the great experience you get. A real gem. :)

We stopped into this restaurant about 10.15 pm after doing the Harbour Bridge Climb. The service wasn't great as we ordered a beer as soon as we sat down and being that it was a very warm night we were keen to have a cold drink. This did take quite some time to get to our table and that was... More
