This place is still one of the best seafood places in Sydney after all these years. The new Asian owners are no doubt keeping Hans Mohr’s dream alive. Good work guys 👍

Wasn't sure what to expect - if the food would be as good as it was years ago - but both our meals were great. Reasonable price for that size meal, in fact I couldn't eat it all. The construction on the road didn't bother...More

Winding our way through the back streets of Surry Hills after blindly booking a table here based on previous TA recommendations, we were amused and slightly taken aback to get to the appointed address to find an old-fashioned corner chip shop packed ....with maybe 15...More

Visited this fish cafe for the first time as we patronise other restaurants nearby and what a beauty this place offers, had the monkfish and salmon dish with buck chou and new potatoes, excellent flavour with generous serve. A must try restaurant with reasonable pricing....More

We opened the door tentatively (having negotiated the infrastructure works that presently mar Devonshire St). It was a tiny restaurant, but clearly popular. We didn't have a formal booking (rookie error) but the waitress greeted us kindly and quickly cleared a corner table for us....More

Where has this place been all my life?! How has it been here for decades and me not know about it. With food this good at these prices I am amazed that I didn't hear of it years ago. Don't go for the decor or...More

We used to go to Mohr Fish a decade ago and had memories of it being a cut above with lovely fresh fish. My barramundi was described as BBQ'd and arrived on top of a sauce resembling cajun or curry. The barramundi was thickly coated...More

Fast service, beautiful grilled fish & mash, and some beautiful items on the dinner menu. Could be better with more than one salad selection, also it's a pretty small place with not a huge amount of dine in seating.
