Looking for a casual meal where you can bring your own drinks? This place is perfect. Good selection, prompting service and if you like spicy it great. Worth a go.

Others have made comments that this place has declined and after last night, I'm afraid that I have to agree. Fish ball entree was pathetic. The "specialty" mains were hit and miss with the prawn being a big miss whilst the duck was very good - a far cry from previous visits over a year ago when everything was good.

It's breaking my heart to write this review since this little cozy restaurant near the heart of Sydney CBD has been my favourite for years. It's been a long time since the last time I dined at Spice I Am, so today I decided to take the family to an old time Thai favourite restaurant. Even without looking at the... More

A very small restaurant in Surrey Hills area of Sydney. It is not very big, and is more like a street food place than a proper restaurant. However, the food is excellent. They don’t serve alcohol and will only take cash. Whenever we walked past the restaurant was always busy.

Desperate for dinner late on a Sunday, we were grateful just to find a place open. It takes cash only, so be prepared. Green papaya salad in pretty spicy, so for the more gentle dish, order the pad Thai. They were out of some items, but what we had was good.

Only 50 metres away from our hotel (Wyndham Sydney Suites), this place was packed on a Wednesday night..! As we had a friend with a baby and pram the best option was for take away. The place is quite small in any case and the line up for tables indicated it's popularity..! The menu was quite extensive and the staff... More

If you like great inexpensive Thai food and it's BYO, give this place a try! This restaurant was just down the street from our apartment. We liked it so much we came back a second time. The service is quick and friendly. The menu is outstanding Thai street food. The ambience is very basic, but you come here for the... More

Can't recommend this place enough! The food was absolutely delicious, with a menu offering huge variety, even catering for one or two fussy eaters in our group of 6 adults. A couple of dishes had unfortunately sold out- we took this as a sign of a good restaurant with high demand. The soft shell crab was especially good & I... More

We ate at a table in the street. Great atmosphere and our whole fish was cooked to perfection. Plenty of ginger and garlic, with some very hot chilli. Delicious!

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
