Not sure what the food was like, as we were not served for 15 minutes, not even asked for a beer or a water.. ??

This place is lacking in many ways. First of all, this joint is way too big for this location! They do not have the audience to support the tables they have at this place. The food here is also not as good as the joint on Cunningham street. It is lacking in passion in the food. Furthermore, this place is... More

We were looking for some spice; well, here we got it. It's down a side alley; hotpot is served downstairs, a la carte sichuan food upstairs. We chose kung pao and spicy lamb ribs. The kung pao was excellent; heavy on ginger and scallion with enough chili. The lamb ribs were heavy on cumin, a little fatty for my wife's... More

Pitt and George. It's upstairs an really quite good. I went there with a Chinese friend who, for once, wanted to have really spicy food from her home area. Well. that's what we got and it was good. Will go there again. As others have mentioned, if you are willing to put up with the somewhat erratic and not particularly... More

Liked the food but felt that this was a restaurant for Chinese customers. Only one server spoke English (broken at that) and the English food descriptions left much to be desired. Out food was good (very very spicy), the portions were huge but I would recommend taking a Chinese speaker with you.

Very good one, authentic but perfect as well for caucassian ppl. Quite spicy, good choices for veggie ppl, very big space. I went at the Cunningham one, very yummy as well. Chinese friends brought me there! Perfect and not too expansive. To discover!

I haven't been to a Sichuaun restaurant to a long time and was thrilled to find this place. We found this on a visit to the Friday night markets in Chinatown and picked it from the many restaurants that have promotional staff on the street enticing you with pictures of the menu. Décor: acceptable but I had the misfortune of... More

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
