Best 'High Tea' experience so far. After reading reviews, we decided to give it a go. We were happily surprised with everything. Food was truly delicious, fresh and different (I want the recipe for quiche, yum). Scones and desserts were amazing. Service very high standard and decor was so elegant. Everything was so perfect that we were organising our next... More

We hadn't been for High Tea her for a while so I took mum for a thank you gift for all her help with my new bub. We were really impressed with the service. Staff were attentive on arrival assisting with getting the pram up the two steps and navigating the way to our table situated near the bathroom with... More

A beautiful high tea served in an exquisite room. The sandwiches were delicious and fresh and the scones soft and perfect with jam and cream. The little cakes and slices were just devine with my choice of tea. The staff were attentive and polite. A lovely way to spend an afternoon!! Exploring the shops at the QVB completes a great... Is this the best high tea in Sydney? No - but it is not bad. The tearoom pumps their guests through and has a busy buzz most days - so they can produce a very pleasing array of treats. The service is ok - although we had to ask for teaspoons. The ambience, also, is ok but you can find... More

We were only missing the costumes to make this event as real as in the 19th century! I really enjoyed it: the service, the place, the decor, and the menu!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here recently with a group of 9 ladies. The waiter did get a little confused with all our orders (some were doing wine, others tea) but overall it was very lovely. The price was a little high to include just one glass of champagne ($50) but the food was plentiful and delicious. I was even allowed... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
