Despite having booked there was no table available when we arrived and we were sent to a rather dingy downstairs bar area to wait. When we eventually got a table we were rather underwhelmed both by the food and the offhand service

Excellent small Italian restaurant in a quiet alley next to the Marriott at Circular Quay. The antipasto di Mare is super an the house red is very good value. Alfredo's has pleasant attentive staff and good atmosphere.

This place was down an alley next to our hotel. We decided to try it after a long day of touring. I had the seafood with pasta and my wife had the ravioli. Both were outstanding. And we went the next night and again excellent meals. The menu contained a smaller dish option for the entrees which pleased my wife.... More

This great little Italian is tucked away in a laneway close to Circular Quay. Very reminiscent of eateries one would find in Italy or France in terms of its decor and location. Traditional Italian fare is on the menu and a good selection of wines (Australian and Italian). Very efficient staff. Go for a quick pasta (no pizza!) or linger... More

In my world, hosts of Italian restaurants are inevitably welcoming, eager to please and are generally engaging. Not here! It all seemed perfunctory and had a factory feel about it. A polite enquiry as to whether gluten-free pasta was available was met with a blunt "No". I didnt mind the unavailability, just the manner. One pasta dish with a tomato... More

Recommended by the Concierge. Started with the Antipasto di Mare for 2 that was excellent and followed with the pasta with crab, chives, cream and chilli that was delicious. Pleasant, friendly waiters and nice ambience. Would recommend.

A great dining experience. Alfredo is the consummate host. Food is always consistently great. Do yourself a favour and order the Gnocchi... to. die. for!

Great food, good wine. Kids loved the spaghetti and I had the crab pasta which was great. The only complaint was service. I suspect there was some staffing issues with it being NYE and when I'm back in Sydney, I would certainly go again as the food was that good.

This is a cute little Italian restaurant right around the corner from the Marriott. We all ordered different pastas. The pheasant ravioli and the gnocchi were the big hits. 3 picky teenagers and everyone loved meal. Great service and moderately priced. We would recommend this restaurant.

Thank Beth L
