Spent a very enjoyable Friday evening here recently. Food was fantastic, both the mushroom and pumpkin risotto and the lamb shank. Good selection of beer and ciders. We were lucky to watch the duo of Norfolk n Goode whose music made the night extra special. A...More

Hot Australia Day needed cold beer! The hero was well worth the visit. Service was friendly and efficient. Getting a table was (obviously) harder but we succeeded fairly quickly. Jazz band kicked off as we were leaving. Recommend.

Found the Hero on our walk around the 'back' of the Rocks. Really cool old pub. Great for a beer during a sightsee walking tour !
