I'll start by saying that the food and wine matching was amazing, & the vallet parker handdrea was so friendly & welcoming, a total standout. The rest of our experience was a total disappointment and we actually left so angry by how rude the staff were! When you pay a premium for a fine dining experience you expect the service... More

I've waited many years to dine at Tetsuya's and I was lucky enough to be flown to Sydney for my birthday to celebrate at Tetsuya's. Quite simply one of the best meals I've had - impeccable service all night. The sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines. We had the wine paring with the degustation menu. Stand out dishes were... More

Exceptional cuisine and service, most places are just catching up or trying to replicate what Tetsuya has been doing for years and they are still well ahead. Worth every cent flavours or each dish were divine with each wine matched to perfection. Loved the intimate setting with each time booking located in different sections of the restaurant very clever. We dined today at Tetsuya 's to celebrate my birthday. The food preparation was absolutely delicious. The attention to detail was great. The pacing of food, tea matching was also great. The calibre and service of the staff are 5 star. They explain all beverages, meals and are very attentive. If you are celebrating a special occasion, you must visit... More

Confit of Petuna Ocean Trout With a Salad of Celery, Witlof, Apple & Unpasteurised Ocean Trout Roe,這道可是他們家的招牌啊!非常的讚啊,鮭魚的選擇非常重要,油脂的分布完全會影響這道菜的表現!

We ordered the 9 course which really seemed like a 12 course which i think included 4 courses of deserts. Half of our group wasn't impressed but i definitely had an excellent experience. we went there with 2 other couples, the service was excellent and most of the dishes unique. the picture you see above looked like a thick piece... Always wanted to try Tetsuya's and the food and service did not disappoint. I was a little disappointed with the ambiance as the table we were seated at did not have an outlook of the garden but overall a great experience. Would highly recommend for a special occasion as the degustation was delicious.

After a bad experience with the reservations staff, we were a bit put off to try again for another reservation, but glad that we did! It was a fantastic experience where the food was fresh and delicious -- and different ... creative (but not pretentious), and the wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive (without being too in-your-face). Would splurge again... More

Description
Tetsuya's serves a ten course degustation menu. The degustation is unique, based on the Japanese philosophy of using natural seasonal flavours, enhanced by classic French technique and utilising the freshest possible ingredients. Tetsuya designed his own on-site "test kitchen" within the restaurant to enable him to create the constantly evolving and inspiring dishes on which he has built his esteemed international reputation.

Tetsuya's offers one of Sydney's most comprehensive wine lists and our sommeliers will, upon request, match the dishes with wine available by the glass.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
