On previous trips to Sydney we've eaten here and it was like catching up with an old friend. This is a delightful restaurant/cafe with different areas having different vibes. We love the intimate interior constructed from sandstone blocks. The highlight of this visit was the chicken, rocket, avocado, sun-dried tomato and dijon dressing baguette; totally stunning! Service was friendly and... More

The food is good and service is OK. I personally didn't like the menu as There is no price on the menu and it was a shock for me when I paid the bill.No choice splitting of Bill either. Cost me twice as much compared to other places. Overall very expensive and not my cup of tea.

We attended Jackies with friends for breakfast. The food was average - nothing amazing. Our issues arose when they presented us with the bill... which included a "Saturday Surcharge" of $8!!! On what grounds can they justify such a surcharge?! I shudder to think what they do on public holidays... And they wouldn't allow us to split the bill...instead telling... More

Great place to stop for coffee, lunch or a glass of wine in the afternoon. Brilliant staff who crest the buzz and make sure you enjoy yourselves. A good range of breakfast eggs and sushi and salads for lunch. A really nice place and one of the best coffees in paddington

Nice friendly staff, really nice food (especially the scrambled eggs) and a local footie star to boot. The fresh bottled smoothies & juices were very nice.

Wow what a great breakfast! Jackie's is just off Oxford street in Paddington, hidden amongst all the fab clothes shops. There is a lovely outdoor area but it was full on a cold Sydney Saturday morning so we headed inside which was still nice. I am tough on my breakfasts but this was the best one I have had in... I've eaten here twice now and both times I've left feeling a bit annoyed. The food is a little formulaic and thin on the ground. But the bigger problem is the staff who seem cold, unapproachable and indifferent to their customers. Get a grip people you're working in a service industry!!! Try smiling perhaps? Won't be coming here again.
