My wife and I visited Maggie's for a second time, on Sunday evening. We arrived hungry again after only eating breakfast and going to the Hayes Theatre to a 3.00 pm matinee show. The menu and service was the same, but we were really interested to try the signature dishes. A German waiter served us, to keep the theme going,... More

This restaurant used to be far better when open for breakfast everyday. It seems to have gone right downhill.

Family gathering at Maggie's to excellent service and food. Did not have to wait too long and atmosphere was quaint, friendly and not too crowded.

Maggie Chow's sits beside the German-themed Maggie's and offers a Chinese menu. Comfortable seating inside, with a few small outside tables, the black-red decor lends a cozy atmosphere. The night we dined the music was 70's hits (lots of Michael Jackson) which seemed a bit odd but was fun to hear. We chose the specials (Szechuan Beef, Stir-fry Beef and... More

My son and I went here for breakfast and it was obvious there are many return customers. We both had cooked breakfasts which were excellent and VERY big. The service was quick and excellent and we actually were able to get in just before they usually opened. A good ambiance with lots of things on the walls to look at.... More

If you have a food intolerance beware; either their chef doesn't actually know what is in the food, or they don't mind lying to you. I asked for the cream spinach side dish but only if they could confirm there was no onion (or garlic) in it. The waiter assured me it would be onion-free. I asked him twice, and... More

Found Maggies while walking around on a very warm Sunday. Nice cool inside, with outside seating, and reasonably priced (for Potts Pt.) menu. Food was good and wine was refreshing. Not too crowded and staff very attentive.

This restaurant serves all kinds of European food, but if you are a schnitzel fan, wow, it is so big it overhangs your plate!

3 couples came here on a Scoopon voucher. The service was friendly and the food was great with the meals coming out in a timely manner. Started off with fried camembert (3 pieces) & fried small mushrooms between us – yum. My medium rare steak was cooked to perfection with nice crisp vegetables and potato rosti perfectly crunchy on top.... More

Hearty German / Austrian fare. Very decently priced & excellent value for money. The giant schnitzel around the AUD 20 mark with a litre of Weiss beer less than that. How can you go wrong. The décor isn’t terribly german and the place does need a refurb. Does lack atmosphere at lunch, dinner has a much better vibe. Get the... More
