The Wok on Inn is in the Rocks area and has outdoor seating under giant shades. The food was nice although tends to be on the sweet side so more Thai influenced than Chinese. Beer was available and their are toilets in the Rocks Centre adjacent. A good place for a quick feed.

I ate regularly from this noodle bar which provides dine in and takeaway. The staff are friendly and even remembered my order from previous days. Servings are large, fresh, hot and very tasty plus inexpensive.

Nice, freshly cooked food a stones throw from the harbour. We got a takeaway and then headed down to sit overlooking the opera house to eat it. Really nice, fast service and tasty food at a fraction of the cost of other restaurants in the area.

We stopped here for a late lunch. It was a great place to eat. You can pick what combination you want and the it is made fresh for you. The spicing guidelines are accurate 3 chilli's really is spicy. Great place to go for some cheap street food.

We went on a family trip to the rocks looking for some fresh food. We were not dissappointed - all food is cooked to order and the staff were very friendly and adjusted the recipes to match our children's requirements. Definitely highly recommended - lovely sitting area.

Needed a quick dinner and found this place by incident. A bit hidden and with only seats outside wich was OK when the weather was fine. Food served was served quick and tasted very good. Good feeling about the place. Very reasonably priced as well.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
