Sad experience, arrogant waiter. I will never come back to this restaurant. The menues are so expensive. Not worth the money. Most of the menus are totally tasteless. The prices of the wine are "way over the hill". Eat somewhere else. There are many nice restaurants in this neighborhood.Very expensive menu. Not worth the money.

It is not often that I am so angry with a restaurant a week after a bad experience, but la Vecchia Cucina is the exception. We were four for dinner on a Tuesday night. The first couple had arrived a little ahead of us so ordered some entrees to share, the wine and the water. So far so good..... When... More

expensive but delicious, we loved the waflles for dessert. We went to this restaurant about 3 years ago and discovered that half the patrons were south african on a saturday night. not sure if its still like this but we had a good laugh

We were doing the 14km City to Surf run the following day and needed somewhere to load up on pasta. We came across this restaurant by chance and got a table without a booking. The service was prompt however the waitress read out the specials to us whilst checking herself out in the mirror, which was very amusing. We had... More

wandering around "The Cross" looking for somewhere to eat. We were 2 couples and we loved this place. We were welcomed with open arms even though we had no reservation. The staff were wonderful, particularly our Italian waiter. The food was fabulous. Would recommend to anyone wanting great authentic italian food at a reasonable price

More sophisticated. Great traditional italian fare, very tasty. Great service. Calm and generous servings. Something on the menu for everyone

I have walked in front of this Potts Point 'trattoria' many times and every time I thought that from the outside it looked just like those down to Earth rustic trattorias from my youth in Italy....when I finally had dinner here I realised that I was wrong. As soon as you walk in you realise that this place is chic... More
