I was amazed with the combination of flavours. The service was outstanding! The wine list was very good. The sushi is very tasty and fresh, great value for money. I had the "Tonkatsu Pork Loin" (deep-fried crispy kurobuta pork loin served with home blended tonkatsu sauce) as main course and it was amazing! Highly recommended!

I visited the restaurant for a reasonably quick lunch between meetings, the food was great and served quickly. I had the salmon lovers bento, it was really nice!

Fine Japanese cuisine. All sashimi is fresh and wagyu very tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. Staff offer great customer service and very friendly. Highly recommended for big groups.

The Bento Boxes at Masuya are a fantastic lunch with a little bit of everything. Sashimi, tempura, bbq pork, sushi rolls, soup, wagyu beef. All good and highly recommended!

My Japanese partner and I ate here last night before attending a concert at the Sydney Opera House. I have previously eaten here with other friends. The service is quick efficient and courteous. The food is fabulous. On this occasion we had a wonderful so-called "Aussie" sushimi plate - so elegantly presented. Our simple tofu and avocado salad was delicious... More

Delicious food and fantastic service. Only downside is that it is in a basement type room, so no natural light. But love it overall!

Decent and authentic Japanese food, none of that fusion stuff. Waitresses here are kind and polite. Loved the food and cocktail, would definately go back again.

I have been to Masuya many times already and this is the one that I must go whenever I visit Sydney. One of the reasons is that it's just 5 mins walk from office other than the food tastes good. I ordered some sashimi, sushi and deep friend oysters this time. The food has always kept its high quality standard.... More
