You can't beat a big beautiful piece of well fried battered fish. Was offered 1/4 serve of chips. Plenty for one. Can sit watching the water and eating. Will be coming back often. Thanks.

We came here for lunch. It was just opened because we were early. Great hospitality. We had fish and chips. It was so lovely to have lunch at the sea side. The price was so unbelievable for two persons. Had the old style of fish...More
A must do is to watch the sunset on the verandah eating the best fish and chips with a beer in hand. Doesn't get any more Darwin than this.
One of our favourites pastimes is heading down to Cullen Bay Beach in the late afternoon of a weekend to enjoy fish and chips from La Beach as the sun slowly sinks into the Arafura Sea. Take a rug or chairs with you and find...More
Went to this spot after reviewing "best fish and chips in Darwin" and my husband and I were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious fish - fresh and cooked beautifully. I can highly recommend the Threadfin ($12) and the Barra ($16)...both crumbed. Half serve of chips did...More
Darwin is a city of contrasts. And this place epitomises that. Beautiful location for the Darwin sunset. Absolutely zero ambience exuded by the restaurant. No coffee even. But simply the best fish in Darwin. On balance ... you'd go elsewhere for the trappings of fine...More

This place is a dive. You couldn't pay me to eat there again. The owner is obnoxious and very rude. Shouldn't be in the customer service business. The food is poor. Fish is so full of oil it sticks to the paper. I doubt it's...More

Got here in time to watch sunset and what a crowd. Had to queue for about 15 minutes to order barramundi and chips and then another 30-40 for it to be ready. WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. Tables are at a premium but there is...More
