This venue is right on the waters edge so the views are fantastic especially if you are lucky enough to score a nice sunset. The food was quite nice, good pub food standard. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Darwin.

It is worth visiting the sailing club just for the views alone. A fabulous location to have a beer and watch the sunset, there is always guaranteed to be a good atmosphere. With its stunning locating the sailing club could be something spectacular however it is actually just very basic, with old tired and worn miss matched furniture. The food... More

We were here on a Wednesday for lunch and had the place to ourselves. The food was great and next time we are in town we'll come back. Great spot to sit and relax.

What a great venue to enjoy a meal with your family, social groups or that special loved one. The ocean views with all the sailing boats in front of an eye popping sunset is a must see in my book. the meals are very sizeable and delicious. If you are visiting Darwin this is a must come to bistro

View of sunset was great, good food, decent sized portions, only complaint would be please install some fans or something under the tent things, it's hot especially when there is no breeze, feels like your sitting in a sauna, if your going, either sit out where the grass tables are or under a fanned table, especially this time of year

Great views and sunsets can be seen from the sailing club's Waterfront Bistro so it's a good place to enjoy a sundowner. I suggest that you enjoy your drink there and go for a good nosh at one of Darwin's good casual or better restaurants as the food at the bistro is fuel rather than a pleasure to eat. From... More

Great location on the water at East Point in the Sailing club. As a visitor to the club you can be signed in several times a year and they have a social membership so you're welcomed even if your not a sailor. The bistro is just that it's not a restaurant with full table service, you order and get a... More

This must be one of the best locations in Darwin to have a casual dinner. The four of us arrived just before sunset and claimed a table with a superb water view. We sipped cold, cold beers while watching the sky turn various shades of orange and purple and enjoyed the gentle breeze. Dinner was bistro style with a good,... More

Always nice to visit the Darwin Sailing Club for tea, in its a great position with terrific views of the ocean and sunset. It gets very busy which is a good indication of its popularity. We have had great meals and enjoyed the setting watching the sunset. You will not leave hungry.
