If your looking for a beautiful french patisserie then look no further than Chouquette in New Farm. Great coffee and even better cakes and pastries. You may have to wait for a seat but be patient as it's worth the wait

There was no obvious seating procedures as it's a bakery with seats. Fine. But when we sat down the waitress came and told us to give up our seats to someone else who was waiting. Ok. A man gave us his table when he left. The same waitress told us to give the table to someone else AGAIN. So we... More

Called in for a snack, great patisserie/boulangerie and nice atmosphere. Parking seemed easy nearby too. We were there later in the afternoon so probably not seeing the whole range but liked what we saw. Tables to eat at inside and out,

Reliably good all the time. Really handy to have as my local but all the locals feel that way. Excellent goats cheese quiche, mushroom croissant and macarons.

Tucked away in Barker St New Farm is this little slice of French deliciousness ..... pleasing to the eye and the tastebuds the cakes are as divine as any you would find anywhere in France. Sorry is it ok to eat strawberry tart for breakfast ? Try their ham and gruyere croissant their danishes or baguettes they are all equally... More

This beautiful patisserie was amazing. The coffee/hot chocolate was nice and hot and the cakes we had for morning tea were beyond awesome. This great patisserie has everything FRENCH, from sourdough to brioche to pastries to delectable cakes. Put this FRENCH patisserie on your list to visit for morning tea you won't be disappointed

Located about 20 min from Downtown, this shop reminds me of proper French pastry in France! Flaky, buttery and not too sweet. Coffee was also great.

My family ordered a croquembouche for my birthday celebration, unfortunately, I never got to see the expected grand finale as it collapsed before it got home (and we were staying 5 minutes drive away). Although the collapsed croquembouche tasted lovely it was never going be the same, a once a life time celebration was tainted. Chouquette apologized when we gave... More

We visit this patisserie once a month to remind us of our holidays in Paris. Their range of pastries is amazing and the chef introduces new ones periodically. This morning we were blow away by 2 of the new items on the shelf. I had a caramel concoction which is up there with the best pastries I have eaten in... More

Loved it. Pot of tea was nice, tea leaves too no tea bags. I had a citrus cake warmed with fresh cream, it was delicious. My daughter had a chocolate pastry and enjoyed it very much. Free street parking and a nice little stop before the movies which are right across the road. Can't wait to go back.

Thank Maree G
