So. Ordered the corn frittata. Girl clearly didn't want to be there. But nor did I as my plane was delayed. It said on the place card that it would come with caramelised onion and relish. A short while later, the frittata came out on a lil plastic plate ... All alone. I looked at the girl and asked what... More

As we all know, airline inflight food is quite lacking in both quantity and quality, so, having arrived well before departure time, we went looking for breakfast. Although we were flying Virgin, nothing in their departure lounge would suffice. We were after breakfast, not coffee and cake/rolls. We ventured down to the Qantas end and found Velluto. Eggs (fried or... More

When I came to Brisbane airport I found that my flight is delay, so I have a lot of time to spend in airport, which is not so big and actually is very boring. I decided to sit in Velluto espresso bar and it was right decision. Very high quality coffee and tasty pastry helped me to wait my flight... More

TERRIBLE Tables all dirty and no one clearing or cleaning. Asked if table can be cleared and cleaned so there's room to eat and told by counter staff they were busy and I can clear it myself if I wanted. Didn't care that it was filthy and it's not a paying customer's job to clear table or clean food off... More

Great eggs benedict though they ran out of salmon so gave exyra bacon. Good friendly service. Huge portion. Clean. Quiet location opposite newsagent. Good space between tables for luggage. No freshly squeezed juices but bottled ones.

2% surcharge is ridiculous - staff were rude and the coffee tasted like mud. Seemed understaffed and many complaining customers. The staff said that their boss didn't want to spend any extra to hire anymore staff and said they wanted to quit because of the working conditions.

We arrived today early morning. Ordered a coffee, a bottled juice ($6.95!!!!) And two eggs benedict with BACON. The girl serving was most unimpressed to be there and simply said the cost. No thank you etc. Coffee was called 15 minutes before the meals were ready. Then when the meals were called the both had Salmon not bacon. The lady... More
