Food was great, typical bar food and nicely presented. Really noisy so not for a quiet or romantic lunch. Found myself shouting over general noise to be heard. Also very dark inside, weird for during the day. Would be better for evening visit.

Walking down the stairs to this basement bar I had no idea what to expect. I was immediately impressed by the volume(not too loud) and type (easy listening) of the music. The pulled beef brisket burger and the pulled pork burgers were delicious and the pints of Magners cider were a bargain at $8. The staff were friendly and everything... More

Caught up with a few friends for drinks and dinner mid-week. Was a lovely evening - with a slight hum of people chatting and the music audible, but not overpowering, you could actually chat to one and other and not have a headache by the end of it! The food was good, big serves though! (When you have a tiny... More

Stopped by Mick O'Malleys for beers with colleagues after work on a Friday. We were able to grab a booth and enjoyed a few rounds. I can't offer any advise on the food, but would suggest it as a good spot to gather and quench your thirst.

We had a quick supper jere and the mushroom soup was delicious but the cajun chicken salad had never met any cajun spices. It was very bland but the chicken wings were nice and spicy.

My friend and I left Gilhooly's where the atmosphere was friendly and service great. I did however have my mind set on cabbage and bacon for lunch so we headed for O'Malley's. They had the better Irish menu. I'd been there a few times for a quick pint while waiting for my bus. Even then, the service was average and... More

Although busy, there is a lot of room to relax and enjoy a drink or meal. good selection of food and a bigger one for drinks. Seat/tables outside if wanted but good a/c inside on a hot day. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was good.

We went for dinner at the pub and a few drinks and were somewhat disappointed in that it really needed a makeover. Many vinyl seats torn and should be renewed (do not understand why they are not repaired). Carpet very dirty in areas and would be better with timber flooring all over the floor area. Seating very obscure re location... More

We were overnighting in Brisbane and went downtown to the Queen Street Mall - a great experience in its own right. We were hungry so headed into the subterranean depths of this pub. Because it was a Tuesday, we had two main course for the price of one and draft cider/ale. The food was really good and the server was... More

Called in to Mick's for a quick drink and snack after long day shopping. Was met by Christina who went over and above her duty to help us get exactly what we wanted even though it wasn't on the menu. Food was quite tasty, atmosphere very relaxed and staff very friendly. Prices very reasonable too. Well done and thanks Christina.... More
