First time here. Was to celebrate mine & a girlfriend's 50th birthdays, plus 20 year friendship. Treated beautifully by staff! Started with a Moët. Never felt rushed. Ordered the charcuterie board with a nice Yarra Valley pinot noir. Asked for extra bread.. not a problem!...More

Went last year and still remember this as possibly the best steak I've had yet. It was cooked superbly. They managed to fit us in last minute on a busy night and we had a great view of the river and city at night.

Special thanks to our waiter Russell who was so welcoming and attentive. Food was amazing especially the Fois Gras. The chips were delicious but not crunchy. There was no gluten free bread available which was a bit disappointing. Dessert was another highlight. We enjoyed petite...More

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Aquitaine dining outside on a mild evening. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The view across the river was lovely and the oysters were especially tasty! Would definitely return.

We needed an early dinner before the ballet. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The meal was very good. The wine list though not extensive was filled with good choices. We certainly will go back again. The location and view are great

I am sure the Duck Liver Pate was made in house, but it might as well have come from a jar. Escargot were tasteless and the garlic was old, bread crumbly and bland. Barramundi was ok, but no idea what the crust was. All were...More

Description
ABOUT AQUITAINE BRASSERIE Inspired by L'Aquitaine in South West France, this river side dining experience brings together a journey from the Farm House to the Champs Elysees. The contemporary French menu is based on classic French recipes and is brought to life with fresh local produce and modern cooking techniques. Our Head Chef Sam Lonsdale has created a perfectly balanced menu that will appeal to all discerning diners. The wine list intrigues with the positioning of French and local wines together in a regional styles, categorised by palate characteristics rather than varietals. The cocktail list and spirit selection has a real French influence, while Aquitaine maintains an agreement to see direct importing of French produced Kronenbourg draft beer. Aquitaine sits between Popolo Italian Kitchen and Stokehouse Q at River Quay, South Bank, Brisbane and ads a real touch of French class to this thriving riviera.
