Although I admit they have the best charcuterie that I have tried in Brisbane (I am from Spain) everytime we go something happens. Once they sit us on a place where the aircon was dripping on us, and it was very uncorfortable. The other time...More

Situated amongst a lot of great cafes and restaurants , Gerard’s Bar was a relaxed space to catch up with friends . There were a few different seating options depending on group size so it was easy to see everyone and talk. The menu is...More

Staff were rude and pretentious. After sitting in an area that had no reservation sign we were kicked out. That wasn't the main issue, when I went to leave long behold, the waiter had sat two attractive blondes, and no they weren't apart of a...More

The environment is nice and they offer a good selection of wines but no Pinot Gris. The cheese board is nice but a bit light given the price. Overall seems a bit expensive and really is positioned in a car park. It’s worth a visit...More

We order 5 wines from a list of seven red and 4 were missing. The first waiter didn’t realize she is working in a wine bar, the second waiter at the desk was posh and rude. Avoid this place!

I have been here plenty of times, still yet to be one of the lucky few to get a seat outside, so I've only ever stood, and after 3 or 4 drinks time to move onto somewhere where my companions and I can get a...More

We turned up to Gerard’s Bar to have 4 Expresso 🍸 Martini’s at 11.30 pm. The waitress threw down the coasters, turned to us and said, “We close at 12!”, and walked away. We all looked at each other, and although seated at the Uber...More

The menu has excellent vegetarian options & the sound of diners is buffered by the alpine ceiling design which I loved. On the three occasions I have dined at Gerard's they have all been an excellent experience.

Visited as part of the Bite Sip Stroll event - small bar, sat under the tree outside, has casual group bench seats in a courtyard overlook the car park section. Beautiful on a sunny afternoon to enjoy simple finger bar food and a glass of...More

Not great but not the worst. I probably had high expectations given Gerard's Bistro is amazing. This was far less from amazing but not bad. This is more of a hip to bee seen place than for the food. I must admit though, I saw...More

Tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of James Street in Fortitude Valley, Gerard's Bar provides an opportunity for escapism. A place inspired by the tapas bars found in the back alleys of Barcelona, where friends while away the hours sipping drinks and grazing on charcuterie. The menu includes artisan meats, salumis and vegan cold cuts, which guests are invited to select from the bar's impressive meat cabinet.
