I went to the Gardens Club for a very late breakfast ... the cafe is located on the edge of the City Botanical Gardens next to QUT ... there are tables and chairs under the trees near the kiosk/servery where you can order food and drinks ... I had the vegan plate ($18) that was delicious ... the staff are... More

I often take a small group of visually impaired and blind friends on walks from Southbank, over the Goodwill bridge and through the City Botanic Gardens. On occasion, we'll stop at the Gardens Club for a coffee and cake. The staff are very helpful and the food tasty. A welcome stop on a stroll through the Gardens.

This small cafe is well situated in the city's botanic gardens, and a perfect spot to laze away a sunny afternoon. You are in the heart of the gardens, so it is very peaceful, and a great place to watch some of the bird life in the area. Wide selection of hot and cold drinks as well as sweet treats,... More

Charming, historical and peaceful, this lovely original cottage has been preserved as part of the Brisbane Botanical Gardens heritage. I remember it when the QUT campus was the original Brisbane Art College and we used to frequent it then. A lovely cool spot for a coffee, breakfast or lunch, great breakfast menu, good value for money and dare I say... More

We booked this cafe for a birthday lunch and from all the website and social media information, I thought it would be a little more upmarket. The menu, style of food and pricing reflects a nice restaurant but it comes across as more of a canteen/kiosk with a small window serving people. There was no table service, tables need a... More

After strolling the malls of Brisbane and a leisurely walk around the City Botanic Gardens, this cafe was a welcome lunchtime stop. The location and facilities are excellent. The service was quick, professional and very polite. Now for the food - we enjoyed a meza plate between 2 and besides being just the right amount to satisfy, the food was... More

I've never had such dreadful service anywhere before. I placed my order at the till and we waited. Service was slow. It wasn't that busy but it wasn't quiet. Finally one of the coffees arrived. 10 minutes later my tea and my youngest son's drink and cake arrived but not the food/drink for my eldest son. By this point my... More

Visiting Brisbane recently we were delighted to walk up through the Botanic Gardens to the Gardens Club. The staff were attentive and friendly and the meals were great. There was also a tip jar for the charity of the week, which, the week we were there was for Orange Sky Laundry. I'd recommend this 'cafe' to anyone who would enjoy... More

We chose The Gardens Club as our wedding and reception venue, and it was one of the best choices we made. The staff are incredibly helpful, obliging and knowledgeable when it comes to organising events, and the venue and its location is quintessential traditional, tropical Queensland. We held our ceremony in the garden at the front of the venue and... More
