Live band made a terrific environment, vibrant and friendly. Staff also friendly and good bar prices. Standard pub meals, generous sized and efficient service. Fun night out.

A must do spot when in Port, whether it be for a drink or a few, or a feed if you're hungry. The bistro is always busy on a weekend with a fine range of above average pub food on offer.

Great old Queensland style hotel, facilities for all, ranging from upstairs function areas, wonderful balcony, TAB, excellent range of Beers, Wines and other Drinks. Changing bands keeps the music variety alive and the patrons engaged. Meals are more than reasonable and of good proportion, value-for-money....More

Pleasant shaded terrace from where to watch the world of PD go by. The food is good tasty pub type food and the seafood platter is generous enough to share. The music provided by the performers on the ground level can be heard without being...More

This place attracts a huge portion of the crowds that come for the Sunday markets. This results in chaotic service at the bar/drinks counter, a long slow queue to order food, and then another 30 minute wait for the food to arrive. I ordered the...More

This place is busy but we went there most days of our 8 night stay. Lots of outdoor areas and we loved playing keno each day. Only issue with this is you had to watch this in the smoking area which sometimes was no problem...More

Nachos were dry. No cheese. Had to ask for additional sour cream to make them edible. Caesar salad was absolutely drenched in caesar dressing. Left me feeling thirsty rather than refreshed. Lovely location and atmosphere, always busy, but I wouldn't recommend either the Nachos or...More

The Courty as it has become affectionately known, is the oldest pub in Port Douglas and one of the most iconic pubs in Australia.

We are located on the corner of Macrossan St (Port’s main street) and Wharf St (overlooking Anzac Park and the harbour). Behind the magnificent heritage Queenslander façade and wide open verandas is a much-loved full-offering local pub.

This relaxed and welcoming neighbourhood pub is perfect for lunch, dinner, drinks or a night out on the town. Tailor your own experience at the Courty; whether it is casual large lunches with the whole family, afternoon cocktails in the sun with friends, a much-deserved cold beer, quiet corners for a quick bite to eat or late night celebrations on the open air verandas.
