This is a little gem in Port Douglas. Steaks are great, service is great and a pool table and toad racing for the kids! What more could parents ask for? Have returned a number of times.

After our day trip we had Double Burgers which where perfectly done! Menue holds a lot of different freshly made meals. Service was nice and fast, would have been back if we had more time!

Love the inclusion of the new toad, Donald Jump. Book early in the day (big price of $5-10) for an amusing experience

Fresh from the farm he is, and proving to be 'the one to watch', with ever-narrowing odds. Thanks for sharing!

Last trip wasn’t a fluke, the Iron Bar knows how to properly grill a steak. Great quality beef to select from and cooked perfectly as ordered. If you like sauces there is only mushroom and garlic butter to select from, but the relish and seeded...More

Mouth is watering as I read this! Thanks for the prompt to pop down for a steak for lunch!

Great atmosphere, good service (although sometimes they do need more staff), food is quite good but could do with more range and the drinks are always cold !!! Moderately priced for what you get.

Hi Grace, while the IronBar is a steakhouse, there are salads on the menu, and dishes that are readily adaptable to vegan requirements and preferences. You can take a look at the menu on their website, and ask your waiter... More

Whether you’re in town for a wedding, a work-do, or a roadtrip north, no self-respecting blow-in could stake their claim on this beachside village without having tackled a T-bone, kissed a canetoad, or mislaid hours on the dance floor at the IronBar. Quite frankly, you haven’t been to Port Douglas if you haven’t been to the IronBar. The IronBar is pretty much synonymous with “ripper of a good time”, whether as a restaurant, bar, state-of-the-art gaming lounge or mecca for late night shenanigans. By day, a popular dining destination, the IronBar’s steakhouse menu features a lip smacking range of your favourite Aussie pub eats. An esky-cool bar provides welcome relief from the tropics, with a range of Australian and imported beers. Expect the unexpected after dinner, as the IronBar transforms into a battleground for the Far North’s most virulent pest-hello cane toad racing! Retreat to the cool of upstairs' sports bar and gaming lounge till the wee hours or dance the night away!
