I happened to find this restaurant while I was walking around the hotel I stayed and the lunch special menu was caught my eyes! It's really good deal, $12 for a quite big plate meal and a drink. The dishes on the plate were all good taste. This is available only on weekdays (mon -fri), 12 - 4pm. I also... More

Excellent food, just incredibly great cuisine. Flavours, spices, and variety of dishes, brought you into a cultural experience that was truly spectacular. We went as a party of four adults and each one experienced absolutely well balanced flavours throughout each of our meals (one of which in a photo). 100% outstanding meals. We would highly recommend Shiraz Authentic Persian Restaurant... More

We wanted to try this after my husband had had a really good experience at another Persian restaurant. It had more of a casual cafe atmosphere. Nothing wrong with that. No alcohol is served so they do have the usual non alcoholic beverage options. We shared 2 dishes. The lamb shank was delicious and tender and I lived the "green"... More

It is more Indian than Persian. Kebab koobide was too dty, rice was indian, bread was storebought Lebanese bread… not authentic. I have been yo Safron room in Canberra and Persian chef in Sydney. Compared with them Shiraz is not good at all. Hope they take the comments on board and improve their food because my intention is to make... More

I ordered from here when I was away for work on Uber Eats. I was so surprised by the quality of food, it was delicious. I had the lamb and saffron rice. The rice is some of the best rice I have ever eaten. I definitely recommend this place.

Did not expect to find such fresh dips and salads, juicy grilled meats and refreshing drinks on a main road in Surfers Paradise! Great Persian menu, top quality and affordable too. Must-try!

Iran is a country with a diverse geography and ethnic population. It sits at the centre of the former Kingdom of Persia, one of the world's oldest continuous major civilisations. Iran forms a bridge between the Middle East and the Far East in the centre of the ancient Silk Road, a major trading route which goes back tens of thousands of years. Persian cuisine has influenced many world cuisines, and has absorbed elements from other cuisines as well. It's no surprise that Persian ingredients such as saffron, pomegranate and spinach have made their way into other cuisines! As ancient traders took their wares to the corners of the world, they traded goods, bringing back the eating habits and ingredients from Greece, Rome, Turkey, Russia and India. Today's Persian cuisine traces its roots to ancient Persian ingredients and recipes, and is enriched by the great tastes imported from the rest of the world!
