We got a recommenation by the opal cutters at Unique Opal Mines to have dinner at Parlamento. I talked to the guys in Italian and the food and service, let alone the speed of the whole team was impeccable. We were in ADL only for 2 nights, my daughter insisted on going back for another dinner, so we did. She got an apron as a souvenir and was beaming. GRAZIE SIGNORI 🇮🇹🇦🇺❣️

A group of 9 of us had a table reservation for dinner on a Saturday evening in Adelaide. We sat outside even though it was chilly. Simply put, I cannot fault this restaurant. In my humble view, both the food and the service were superb. What astounded me was the manner the payment of the bill was managed...this has not happened to me in Australia in years. The waiter, willingly and efficiently and enthusiastically, split the bill and allowed us to each pay according to our individual menu choices. I have experienced this approach in restaurants in America, but in Australia, restaurants seem to refuse point-blank to split bills, even though there is technology to support it.
What a wonderful experience it was to eat at the Parlamento in Adelaide! We so enjoyed the evening that we went back for a repeat before we left Adelaide. A huge thank you to the restaurant and its staff - you were fantastic!

My partner had the Scaloppine ai funghi which came with a very watery sauce instead of a creamy one. I had the Spaghetti alla puttanesca which again was nice but not a stand out. The sorbet was nice and the cannoli not that great. An overall nice restaurant but nothing outstanding.

Chose here as close to festival theatre and has on their website pre-theatre dinner. Lovely environment & warm welcome…. Glass of rose ($13) chilled & tasty…and a really tasty side dish of roast potatoes…. And that’s where the good review ends…
I ordered the mussels ($23) and at least a 3rd of them were closed so couldn’t eat them, the rest…some were almost cold and the sauce was oily and salty. My daughter ordered the bruschetta which came as 2 pieces of toasted sour dough with 2-3 large tomatoes slices on. Tomatoes was ‘soggy’, that texture you get when tomatoes are slightly old. She only ate 1 piece of bruschetta as it was not pleasant.
While it was convenient for a pre-Theatre dinner it is definitely not a place I would recommend or go back to

Our International friends came especially to Adelaide to visit us and they suggested we have dinner together at this restaurant. 'She' (not mentioning names) trains staff across the globe for luxury mega yatchs and high end hotels.
Everything was going well, fabulous food flavours, good service and nice Italian cafe ambience making it an enjoyable evening UNTIL.... staff started stacking chairs on all the tables around us, turning down the lights & putting on their winter jackets to give a clear message it was time to go, even though we hadn't finished our wine. 'She' was horrified!
We would have appreciated the waiter giving us a little notice that they wanted to shut shop at around 10pm. So it was a surprise that without notice we were having to rush to finish our bottle of wine. We were embarrased as they were guests in our city and left unimpressed.

I've booked online on Friday 16th of February for a table for 6 pm. They let me book this table and when we got there they said if they didn't send me a confirmation email it means it's not available. The thing is, why have those times and day available in the first place? you need to have a better booking process online like all other places where it's not even possible to book if it's not available. The guy who also told me and my friends this in the restaurant said it in a very condescending way like I'm really stupid for thinking it's booked when i didn't get a confirmation. I've been there before and remembered the food was great that's why I told my friends to not worry and I will take care of everything to make our overnight stay in the CBD memorable. Very disappointed.

A most enjoyable and delicious meal as a prelude to going to the Adelaide Festival. We have all eaten at many Italian restaurants in both Australia and Italy and this compares more than favourably.
The risotto, veal parmigiana and seafood pasta enjoyed by our party was beautiful and I might say generously portioned. A good selection of South Australian wines was a great accompaniment.

We have been to Parlamento before and always been very happy.
Last week however we were very disappointed with the service. The food was (and always has been) amazing and we were going to a show at Festival Theatre so they knew we had limited time to order and eat. After the waiter took our order for our first drink he basically ignored us. We had to call him over to 1) order our food 2) order a second drink 3) ask for table water 4) ask for our bill and 5) then leave our table to ask for our bill again as he 'forgot'. He was wandering around the restaurant and kitchen with no sense of urgency as the other waiters were. When we are paying top dollar at a restaurant we expect top service!

A very busy Italian restaurant & house full some evenings and I can see why. Professional service with an extensive menu. I ordered Pollo alla Marsala which did not disappoint, you needed bread or creamed potatoes to finish off the marsala though. Chicken breast was oven baked & served in a reduction of marsala liqueur, onions, rosemary, yellow & red capsicums. A quick meal before catching a flight. I do recommend this eatery if you are in North Terrace.

Booked online and requested window seating. Prompt service by a mature Italian waiter gives one the feel of authenticity. We had quails and pasta which were both very good. As we cannot fit in the rich desserts, we opted for rum and raisin gelato and they were refreshing.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants of Australia. The food is excellent real Italian, so no pizzeria. The staff is real Italian and very friendly. The wine selection very good. We as tourists from Europe and well familiar with the Italian kitchen found this restaurant top class.

I made a reservation for a very large group dinner only a few days in advance and the booking was received without problem. Excellent friendly service all night, the food was great, and the wine selection of SA wines was also a welcome sight, and thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended!!

One of the best Italian meals we have enjoyed anywhere. It was very busy, which probably speaks for the quality of the food, and there were clearly lots of locals eating there. The food was outstanding and the service quick and efficient not to mention very friendly. Certainly one to enjoy if you can get a table.

Enjoyed a delicious meal before going to the theatre. Garlic bread was tasty and both mains were packed with flavour. Desserts Tiramisu and Panacotta were delicious. Staff were amazing and had our meals out on time so no rush. Highly recommend

After a busy evening we were asked to join another couple for their booking here; what a great decision! Packed for a Tuesday evening, being close to the convention centre I suppose means a lot of guests from whatever convention is on, but no matter the ambience was great, we could all have a conversation without raising our voices and the food!!!
We all had beautiful past after, for me a long day walking the streets of Adelaide, so it was just the medicine. Packed full of flavour and such generous servings, we were all well sated. Great older guy was our waiter and he was authentic and cheeky and so welcoming to a great Italian restaurant! Recommended!!!
