Our first visit to Dom since Luke's been on the stove - so had high expectations based on his food we'd enjoyed at Fat Belly Kat in Brunswick Heads several years ago. We mentioned this to our waiter and asked if Luke was cooking - he said "yes" but that got no engagement. I'd expected our interest in his Spanish-influenced... More

Visited for the first time. Empty for a Wednesday night but still took almost ten minutes for the waitress to notice a table of five had arrived. We were really looking forward to a great dining experience however the waitress's attitude tonight was not acceptable. Her table service - even asking if she was having a bad evening - was... More

Fantastic restaurant with amazing food. A lovely restaurant with great ambience in a good location in the heart of the city. Definitely worth a visit.

We turned up late, and were very well and polightly received. We had a wonderful evening. The degustation menu was perfect in terms of the serving size - not too little, not too much, just right. And the dishes were throughly enjoyed by all. Limited wine list though! We had an attentive waiter, who was not very experienced, but will... More

Bistro Dom's food is gorgeous and delicious - beautiful flavours and perfectly balanced textures. I've been back several times in order to have everything on the menu. From the duck doughnuts and porcini salt, and smoked fish rillette amuse-bouches, the kefir milk sourdough bread, the to-die-for pork belly and so much more deliciousness! Only things I haven't tried are the... More

Came here with work colleagues for dinner. It's a very small and long restaurant so don't book here if you want to have a loud, boost dinner with friends as you pretty much sit right next to the next table. Had the patè - average. I could have had it out of a packet from the deli. The prawns in... More

We attended on a Wednesday night at end of January as part of the 50% off food dimmi deal. We chose the degustation and we did ask if it was possible to swap a dish (as it contained ingredients that don't work for me) but due to the costing- that wasn't an option which was fair enough. We weren't given... More

We decided to book a last minute Friday night supper to celebrate a birthday. Many of my choices had two sittings which didn't fit with a 7.30 dining time so we went for Bistro Dom. The three of us had the chefs menu, being happy not to have to choose. Some beautiful bread started us off and then a couple... More
