We stayed upstairs from this cafe and visited for breakfast on our last morning in town. We weren't aware beforehand, but received a great discount on our breakfast! The food was delicious and fresh and the portions were very large. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Amazing range of choice, had the "house beans" for brekkie. Yum. Not sure my smoked fish as a side was a fresh as it could have been but a good experience all the same. The fish tasted odd (could just be me too). Coffee good.

A steady place for a reliably decent breakfast and decent coffee. A good location. Pay and order at the counter. There is a small garden at the back

Our group went for a birthday lunch. 6 Ladies. Been many times in the past. Now cost cutting new owners. Order and pay at counter. Very expensive small meals except the scrambled eggs which were delicious. Salads very boring leaves only. Won't be back.

Really enjoyed the bircher muesli and coffee. And appreciated the genuine care and attention of the staff in my moment of need. Many Thanks.

Located in Salamanca Place, Zum is close to the many sights Hobart has to offer, including its famous Saturday market. The food is really tasty but the menu is limited. A little more choice would go a long way toward making this a great cafe. They make a good coffee!

A pleasant spot for breakfast outside on a sunny day before taking in the Salamanca market on a Saturday. The pancakes with berries are a stand out.

I have been a huge fan of Zum in the past but the last two times I've been there I was told they were doing kitchen renovations and as a result they had a limited menu.. when we looked at the menu it was basically just toasted sandwiches and a few cakes. I ordered a toastie and my friend asked... More

We ordered lunch and waited over 40 minutes for it to finally arrive The waitress who initially served us had a 'Couldn't care less' attitude and seemed only interested in taking a drinks order as we had to ask for the food menu. I ended up having to ask where our meals were and was told there was a wait... More
