Lovely Girl severing us very pleasant. I liked the range on the menu. Plenty to choose from to cover most peoples tastes. I would go back here again.

I´m surprised to see so many good ratings for this one. The menu was interesting, but everything was rather expensive. I just wanted something easy, but it was not possible to order any of the sandwiches. I ended up ordering fried calamari with aioli. It was very decent, nothing special at all.

We had char keoy teow and rotis cania with chicken curry and both were very good. As the restaurant is halal I couldn't get pork in the keoy teow but it was supplemented with calamari and fish paste and was still very tasty. It's a cross nation place so there's plenty of choice. Very nice staff and well priced.

A rather odd fusion of European and Asian specialties, mixed with a Viennese coffee shop and American Hamburger joint. Sounds like it won't work but surprisingly, it does! You wouldn't describe the flavours as 'authentic' but they are certainly tasty. It's a rather 'hip' environment and the service is both efficient and friendly. All in all a good spot for... More

This is conveniently located within the Melbourne central shopping centre. Its a nice cozy corner with comfortable seating. We ordered a Spaghetti bolognese and Black pepper chicken. Both arrived fairly quickly and tasted amazing. Finished off with a piece of Black forest gateau cake from their bakery which was so yummy, it was heaven with every spoonful. They also have... More

The service was friendly and efficient and I was able to recharge my laptop while I was eating too (they have many power points available obviously catering to the students that frequent the area). Spaghetti bolognese was sooo yummy and as they seem to uphold a no pork products ethic I was really interested in trying the beef 'bacon' on... More

Amazing food with alot of variates, Asian, Chicken, Pasta, Fish, soups and starters. The chicken parmigiana is amazing. The grilled black pepper chicken is good also. The catch of the day fish and the pan-grilled fish are great. The pan-grilled fish is better with a mash potato under the fish, nice taste. After that you finish with a great cake.... More

We saw the advertisement while visiting Melbourne in one of the weekly publications. This place was inside a shopping center, hard to find at first. It sure was worth the effort though. We ordered the penang fried kuay teow -- flat rice noodles wok fried with servings of seafood, fish cake, seasonal vegetables, bean sprouts and spring onions, served with... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
