Lively under covered venue filled with a massive variety of food delights to suit any taste and appetite. Music and small novelty kiosks open. Not a patch compared to the charming European night markets but still fun and worthwhile. Thanks for the vote if you...More

While I think it's good here for fresh produce, I do think the market is very overrated. Was expecting a lot more as people kept talking it up so it didn't quite meet expectations

I do my grocery shopping here for the freshest veggies in town, also at a very good price. Yummy food stalls that everyone can enjoy for a quick snack while you wander around. highly recommendable. (y)

We weren't sure what to expect of the market as some are pretty junky. This one is large, with everything you might expect: produce, flowers, clothing, leather goods, ice cream, sunglasses, ethnic food and on it goes. The perimeter has permanent shops selling coffee, food,...More

There are so many choices from the inside permanent small shops there, eat from the windowed stalls, avoid the expensive food court, there are choices of cheese and meats also. Loved it!

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary

corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

As I understand it the Victoria Market will be open on the 24th however if it is; it will possibly be the busiest place in Melbourne!

We went twice and both times found parking near the front. I think parking cost around $5 at a specific time.
