Decided against my better judgement to go to the city and have a Guinness in a traditional atmosphere. Walked in the door to some horrific performance of an Irish song sung by a person playing the bodhran. Surrounded by the usual troop of drunken paddies, most of whom were not of Irish heritage. I didn't bother to order a drink.

The inside is kind of old and nothing particularly special. We were here for St Patty's Day so it was pretty busy, and there was a line outside despite it not being super busy when finally getting in. The Irish fries were nice though, and beers and other drinks were reasonably priced.

This place has a nice atmosphere and a little beer garden upstairs. When we showed up there was a social group of Irish musicians playing which added to the atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was a big let down. Steak was tough and overlooked, salad drowning in dressing, pickled veggies were crunchy and bitter . . . I don't think anyone... More

Enjoyed a really nice lunch on the rooftop with friends. There were no other patrons on the roof and very few in the pub itself but food was good and the waitress was lovely. Entrees of stuffed mushrooms and fish croquettes were great and the main courses of calamari and "specials" of fish were all pronounced to be good. Would... More

Was exhausted and starving, and this Irish Pub was near my hostel. I went around 9pm on a Sunday night and it was pretty quiet. The staff member was pleasant and efficient and the food was good. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back there but for convenience sake it was good

We walked into the pub on a Wednesday evening to find an Irish Folk Music jam in progress. Musicians would join and and play. In the end a lively group was playing. The selection of beers was decent.

The staff were not very friendly and when the food was served a few orders were incorrect. They ran out of some ingredients and didn’t say anything until we noticed and asked and then told us. Should have told us when they realised and asked if we wanted to change our order. The place is dirty and has a really... More

This small pup has the most amazing food and my husband said the best pint of Guinness. An impromptu group of musicians was just setting up and quietly jamming away. The best Irish music I have heard in a long time and not so intrusive that you could not talk. The best beef cheeks if you want to give them... More

I've been here for lunch. They have good prices for lunch -- something like 10 dollar for a main course. The quality is ok, nothing to die for. Not sure the quantity is the same as if you eat here for dinner -- the fish and chips seems to be more "light" at lunch. The service is basic, but friendly.
