A quite and discreet location, well set out for conversation. This was a welcome highlight. The wine list has a very good choices of french wines by the glass, though they highlight a large range of french wines by the bottle. I had a starter...More

I came here recently for a catch up. The patron I dined with was a regular patron of the Bergerac in King Street, and has not dined here for a while, so was unaware the location had changed. I had dined at the previous location...More

I was impressed with the service and the ambience. The staff are pleasant and are willing to chat and assist you as long as you ask. Unfortunately I ordered the porterhouse 300g. I must say the steak was cooked to perfection but to pay the...More

Been dining here infrequently for many ears. Onion soup and steak are reliably delicious and service personable. Will continue to partake!

A friendly clean French restaurant with great service. I was hoping to have something more French on the breakfast menu, but it was more eggs benedict and smashed avo type option that are plentiful throughout the city. A very nice experience.

My friends and I have eaten at this restaurant a number of times over many years. It has recently shifted to a new location within a km of where it was. The meals on this occasion were at their usual good standard although the prices...More

Went for lunch on Monday - first time at the new location. Good service, great food (crab ravioli and poulet au vin) just as before. Thought the new layout might crowd us a little but actually was fine. Thanks Bergerac!

Had dined at Bergerac's old location in King Street (an absolute joy), so was keen to try the new venue. While the new location lacks the charm of King Street, the layout is spacious and pleasant. The quality of the food, wine and service is...More

Went here to try the authentic French food. Initially we thought it was a quite restaurant but it was filled with people pretty quickly. All staff seemed French as well. They were co-operative and gave good suggestion on French wine and good dishes. I had...More

I have not been there for lunch and didn't look at the lunch menus. Parking you may need to find street parking but that may be difficult; best to find a car park close by.
