Good food at reasonable prices. Service was quick and food arrived pipping hot. We had roast pork, BBQ pork, beef slices with Chinese broccoli (kailan), siu mai and pork dumplings and we were not disappointed. A great place to satisfy cravings for Chinese food.

I like this place. Nice foods. Order from pen and paper, write down what you want to ordered. After midnight, waiter will ask for money before the foods come out. I think thats their policy due to people don't pay when they finished their meals specially after midnight. Hainan chicken rice is my favourite here. I was here during AO2017.... More

Love this place, always visit when we are in the city. Yes service is below average but you don't come here for the service. The meals are a great size and very well priced! If you want a quick meal and quality food I would definitely recommend.

The food here is ok however the service is shocking. It took 45 mins to get an order taken. Then drinks were missed. To add insult to injury we paid and waited for our change. The server never came back so again we waited to no avail and left vowing never to return!!!!!!!

It was local and open ..... But I really wish I hadn't bothered with Chinatown so close by .... Very, very average. Average price, average decor and very average food. Don't think I'll rush back .....

We tried this place as we were looking for someone casual. saw the restaurant from a taxi and it looked good- particularly the duck and pork hanging int he window. We were not disappointed. For three persons it only cost us $20 each - very reasonable, tasted good and cheap for roast duck and roast pork.

Huge variety of food with great Roast Duck. Very reasonable prices with great portions of food. Recommend the roast duck on rice for any roast duck lover.

We often head here after a show, or when we are looking for a late evening snack. The pork dumplings, roast duck and almost the entire menu is exceptional value for money. Service and takeaway are both efficient

I concur with the others, quick and tasty fare. Happened to be just passing by and saw the roast pork and duck in the window and looked too good to pass up.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
