Cicciolina has been around for ages. It serves fine dining with prices to match. Good place to catch up with fiends or take mum for lunch

Had lunch at Cicciolina and it lived up to expectations. We had hapuka cooked with mussels and couscous. It was delicious. My husband had venison which was very tender.

Great food and location. If you feel like a more relaxed setting, go to the back bar of the restaurant. Worth a visit.

Ate here on New Year's Eve as a group of eight. The meal was very good with two choices for each course, and a glass of quality sparkling per person. Really enjoyed my meal. Service very friendly and attentive. Recommended.

Its been a few years since ive had the pleasure of dining in one of my top 5 restaurants in Melbourne, and may i say, how pleasant it was to not be let down by this fine establishment. My wife and I enjoyed a late lunch at Cicciolina this week while staying in Melbourne at St Kilda on business. I adore Italian food, and most Italian Restaurants offer hearty soul food, but fall short of truly offering palate inspiring cuisine. Not so with Cicciolina. The exquisite nature of the food bdcsme clear when our starters arrived, a Crab... More

We dropped in for supper and chose risotto and rack of lamb. Both dishes were superb, great ingredients and very well cooked and served. Wine list was interesting and extensive - we chose an unusual Italian wine that was excellent Staff very attentive and welcoming. We will be returning to Cicciolina's.

A great little find in Kilda, we had vongole and a starter of a crab Soufflé , both excellent. A nice wine list too. Friendly helpful staff rounded off a great afternoon.

Food and service here a top class. The food is so flavoursome and rich. Go hungry as the portions are huge. The anti- pasta was an array of small delicious mouthfuls. I have the special gnocchi with John Dory and soft shel crap and my partner had the steak! Can't forget the amazing spiced cauliflower with pomegranate and nuts -... More

Staying in St. Kilda

Neighbourhood Profile
St. Kilda
St. Kilda is an iconic beachside suburb and one of the most culturally and economically diverse of Melbourne’s neighbourhoods. It is a traditional haven for musicians, artists and writers, drawn to the European ambience and fresh ocean breezes. At night, it can have an edgier side, but by day, it features a relaxed vibe – the market stalls, boutiques and outdoor bars display St. Kilda’s easygoing attitude. Ocean winds blow from Port Phillip Bay and waves lap onto its long and mostly deserted beaches. Rides whir at the world’s oldest operational Luna Park. On a lazy weekend morning, bikers cruise along Acland Street, showing off their motorcycles. But the late morning crowds are too busy at brunch to notice. St. Kilda is a perfect place to relax after a night out with friends.
