We have heard great things about this restaurant, so were expecting good things. It did not disappoint. Every thing is very special, the service, the small Amuse Bouche ( delicious) and the meals that came out at a nicely weighted pace. Every dish was a...More

We turned up late without a reservation but were accommodated without any issues. The food was absolutely delicious and the service and attention from the staff was excellent. Prices are not cheap but on par for this quality and service.

Took my partner here for his birthday. Amazing food. Every course was 5/5. So was the service. Obviously, this comes with a hefty price tag of $430 for two people (inclusive of tips)

Warning: If you want to eat in the Grill and want a quieter area, ASK. There's not a lot of sound-absorbing material, but this is obvious the minute you set foot inside. This is merely a side note. Also note some tables are very close...More

The best staff I have ever encountered. We booked 3 months ago I asked for a window seat. I was in the back of the room facing a wall. For the rest Extremely disappointed. We scored you a 4

I dined at Grossi for my birthday and I was nothing short of impressed. The food was impeccable, each and every course well executed, bold and full of flavour. Great to see the wine list had a ‘montepulciano’. Rarely seen on wine list’s across Melbourne....More

I first dined at the Florentino with my grandparents and parents in the 1960s. Later when living in the city I discovered the Cellar Bar, the perfect place to have a cake and a glass of wine on the way home from work. Unfortunately I...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Hello, I'm sorry for the delay. No doubt you have already experienced the delight of Grossi Florentino by now. Smart casual is fine, but it's so lovely there and getting dressed up would be nice.
