Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Can you tell me where you actually went. I went about 10-15 years ago to Melbourne Oyster Bar in King St, Melbourne. 3-5 years ago I went to go there again and when we rocked up there it was closed for renovations or moving. I just tried to ring the number listed on trip advisor and it says it is closed for renovations. So did you go to the one that was originally in King St or did you go somewhere else.. Thanks

Yes I think that old one closed. This was in The Crown and is also known as the Atlantic Restaurant on the Riverside. Hope that helps :)
