Fantastic little restaurant serving very authentic greek dishes - tasty large portions. Served by very friendly and chatty Greek/Aussie. Excellent choice for a good dinner

This Greek restaurant is still owed and operated by the original owner. With its authentic Greek food, delicious platters, bread and dips it's a little gem still standing and holding its own. It's certainly a refreshing change from all the pop up cafes in the area, well done to you all.

Really enjoyed the vegetarian platter, mixed dips, saganaki and grilled garlic prawns - all with friendly, efficient service. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Our son had eaten here and recommended we go for dinner. We reserved a table online then had to delay our arrival due to circumstances. The management and staff could not have been more accomodating even though the reservation time had become unclear. I had the BBQ octopus for entree and main was the signature lamb cutlets. Both were perfectly... More

Small Greek restaurant, some unusual dishes e.g.white bait. You can easily make a meal out of entrees. Tasty, authentic food. Went there twice within our 5 day stay in Melbourne, to try out more things. Good customer service.

Fabulous banquet, quick and delish! Went to Gazi a month earlier, Tsindos was so much better! You will leave rolling out the door if you have banquet, it's huge but all so yummy!

Lovely food although the restaurant had run out of Kleftiko at 20:30. Our waitress was pleasant but not engaging, even when we used our limited greek language to engage her. The waitress at a nearby table was having a long and smiley conversation with her customers, we were quite jealous. Would recommend the food, not so sure about the service....they... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
