Kahve is right on the corner of main St Heliers busiest street and offers a fantastic view on beach, Rangitoto island and passers-by. I have stopped there during the lunch time and had a chili burger and secretly hoped that chili won't be strong. It was :) Can't complain much as I got what I ordered but overall presentation seemed... More

Had an utterly uninspiring 2-course dinner at this place. Nothing tasted fresh. Fish and risotto heavy and uninteresting in flavour. And a $9 plate of veges turned out to be a single soggy capsicum, sliced up and devoid of flavour... the desserts were average too (date pudding pretty dry and the creme brûlée so-so. Stick to coffee or go somewhere... More

In a prime spot in St Heliers but I have always walked past it. Not any more. This was fantastic. The food was imaginative and very delicious. The hash browns were handmade and served with kale, bacon and hollandaise. So yummy. My partner had a bowl of different things including quinoa, hummous, eggs, pickled cabbage and haloumi. Sounded weird but... More

Amazing location, fantastic views, great menu and service and they have a bunch or new chefs in the kitchen, it's all good. We had the Baja Fish Tacos, Lamb Sliders and Market Fish on Risotto, all were faultless.

The food was good and good value and suited everyone. A pleasant place for us all to eat. We went quite early and were the only people there. They needed to check about gluten free and our choices were safe.

A return to Kahve after three years did not disappoint, serving up a delicious breakfast for three of us at a very reasonable cost of 75 dollars. The options all looked tempting - I opted for crepes with maple syrup and mascarpone, but was seriously tempted by the yoghurt balls coated in almonds and served up with spiced pears which... More

My 4th visit here, a new record and again mostly good. I ended up passing a "mediterranean cuisine" restaurant on my way. Really, no such places exist in the med, so kahve was the place. Actually it broke every rule including serving camembert, normandy to my knowledge is not on the med. No greek has ever said "you know lets... More

When we come over to visit children and grandchldren in Mission Bay, we like a healthy stroll to St Helier's, and we keep going back to this place. On our last visit, we had fish and chips and wine, today was just a brilliant muffin each, green tea and a flat white coffee for me. Short review: we will be... More

Dropped-in for lunch with friends. Had the fish & chips, calamari. Friends ordered their food and were quite satisfied with the food. Good customer service and great location. Ample parking spaces all around.
