I realise ethnic restaurants need to bend a bit in order to flog their goods to pagan diners such as we, because there's a limit to the saleability of snake meat, puffer fish, chickens claws and stewed sheeps eyes. But this place has overstepped the mark somewhat. We ordered two mains to go the other night, and we're asked the... More

Recently enjoyed a good take-away which was just the right spice heat and very tasty. Good service and enjoyed a drink while we waited as hadn't been organised enough to phone ahead.

This place is run by a husband and wife team. He's out in the resturant and she runs the kitchen. He is a very humble man who does his part well to make a very pleasant eating out experience. We will be back!!!!

Basic Indian restaurant. Cheap and cheerful so don't expect 5 star. Good for casual dinner with a group

Went to dinner with friends and very impressed with the friendly and considerate service, the care in the presentation (even the plates had been warmed) and the food was delicious. The highlights for me were the tandoori lamb which was tender and tasty, the saag paneer and naan bread but everything we ordered was good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Among the Indian places I visited in New Zealand, this place had an average food. It wasn't bad, but there are definitely better Indian places. The service was not particularly well and I felt like the staff were not that friendly.

We had a delicious curry. The garlic and cheese naan was nice but had a bit too much garlic. We were entertained by the whining female cook in the kitchen. No mango lassie on the menu.

Had a takeaway mid week, the service was a little slow but food was as good as anywhere. I would go back again.
