This place has the most delicious seafood, from the oysters to the fish and everything in between. Better than the seafood is the amazing service we received from the waitress. She was very knowledgable with the entire menu including the wine and beer lists and catered to our tastes and suggested things that we may like based on this, she... More

This is casual dining, or take away. We had Blue Cod with chips and salad, absolutely delicious and best of all, there are 3 portion sizes to choose from - small, medium or large. You are able to take your own wine, we chose to have a couple of glasses from their supply. The staff are pleasant, friendly and very... More

I really enjoyed the meal- generous servings and fresh fish. The desert was my favourite- apple pie and ice cream

We were visiting Napier with a friend from Brisbane who wanted a good Kiwi feed of fish and chips. Having been to the Westshore for fish and chips previously we thought we would visit again. We checked the dine in menu and decided to eat at the cafe as we were staying close and it was a lovely evening for... More

The crumbed blue cod was perfect and chips don't get better than that. Generous servings too at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.

Even though the restaurant was very busy, the service was with a smile and the food very tasty. A pleasant evening walk home.

Fish was ok. Pretty standard for nz. But I think people are just tired of dealing with foreigners looking up on trip advisor. Prices are higher than normal as people have said.

Thought we would come up from Hastings and have fish and chips by the beach. We were advised there would be a 20 - 25 minute wait which was fine. We ended up waiting over an hour. By this time the sun was gone and we ate in the car. The chips were barely cooked and a very small portion.... More

This Fish Cafe is a must visit to either eat in or take away. Food and service is 10/10 so often eat here. We also preordered and paid for a large take out for a function at our house which was ready at the pre-arranged time and to top standard. All our guests agreed the food was the best Fish... More

This fish shoo is an absolute gem! We visited after reading some great reviews and we were not disappointed. We ordered gurnard and the blue cod with grapes and almonds, which was absolutely divine! It could be served in a gourmet restaurant any day. Great, friendly service by the staff. We'll definitely be back!
